God's Families International Adoption Services

Choosing an Adoption Agency

God’s Families is dedicated to the S  U  C  C  E  S  S of your family. How?

Support
We believe it is essential that adoptive parents are offered support before, during, and after their adopted girld from Kazakhstanchildren come home, especially where many of these children have spent their whole lives in orphanages. From referrals to national specialists, to how to get a social security number for your new child, supported families make for happier, better adjusted kids which builds happier, better adjusted families.

Understanding
We understand how difficult this experience can be for some to even get to a point of decision. We understand what it feels like to be an adoptive consumer. We understand as adoptive parents ourselves what pain, struggles, and challenges families have to endure. We understand that when a family has received the spirit of adoption and has conceived an adoptive pregnancy they are anxious to bring their children home.

Charity
Our goal is realistic. Not to save the world but to make it better by saving one child at a time, especially for the children who will remain behind. God’s Families is involved with a number of projects including facilitating volunteer medical/surgical teams, providing financial assistance with educational and developmental programs to orphanages and building repairs. God’s Families accepts tax-deductible donations for these and other programs.

Education
It is critical for a family to be educated in international adoption information. As part of our educational program, we provide you with a 300+ pages Parents' Resource Manual that will cover everything from medical issues to adjustment to packing for your trip. We also provide you with country-specific information to better understand your upcoming trip, your child’s culture, and heritage.

Service
It has been our experience that adopting a child is a very personal experience and a big decision. A family desires personal service, access to qualified staff to answer their immediate questions and reasonable waiting times for placement. We appreciate how important it is to have personal contact with qualified staff for our families. We also work hard to keep your adoption moving and to answer the many questions you’ll have along the way. Personal service makes a family’s adoption experience much more enjoyable and, more importantly much less stressful.

Sensitivity
Sensitivity is fundamental to the adoptive process. It’s a necessity, not a luxury: whether it’s our staff being sensitive to your situation and needs, being sensitive to what an orphaned child has experienced, to being sensitive to the many cultures we embrace daily. Sensitivity is a fundamental ingredient at God’s Families.
