My wife and I are fairly average people with a love for children, and have always had a desire to get involved and help meet the needs of orphaned and abandoned children.

We had had exposure to children needing and wanting homes in our mission works and had traveled to Eastern Europe to minister to the children there, and knew there was a tremendous need. Joan felt strongly about her adopting here and I supported her.

I’m a commodity trader by background, and my wife was a teacher and is now a full time mother and homeschooler for our kids.

We had always discussed the possibility of adopting, and were both convinced that we wanted to adopt. Last year we felt the time was right, and decided to get going. And contacted God’s Families International.

All during the adoption process God brought miracle after miracle into our lives. We are now the very proud parents of a handsome and happy 7 year old boy and beautiful 4 year old twin girls.

Initially didn’t expect our adoption to have such a impact on anyone but else but our family, but to our joy it has encouraged others to adopt as well (more kids have been adopted!).

Our three children have so totally changed our lives, it hard to describe. We are watching them grow in faith as well as every other area of their life.

Being their Mama and Papa means everything in the world to us!
