The adoption of our son from Russia was an excellent experience. God's Families Adoption Agency provided wonderful service before, during, and after our time in Russia. While in Russia our family enjoyed learning some of the culture and history of the country. The orphanage staff was very helpful in providing us with information that helped us to get to know Jackson. The orphanage staff and other government officials made every effort to help us process all the needed documents. The court appearance was a smooth process thanks to the Judge and court staff. Our entire experience in Russia was very positive thanks to the help and kindness we received from the people we worked with.

There were lots of firsts for Jackson this year including train rides, the zoo, Disneyland, swimming, merry-go-rounds, the beach, tree climbing, pumpkin patches, Santa, and Christmas tree decorating to name a few. He’s really looking forward to Christmas this year and celebrating Jesus’ birthday. He talks about it a lot and there’s a lot of Christmas carol singing already (although Jingle Bells keeps coming out Chicken Bells…he’s got quite a sense of humor).

Kurt is still with Cranel and Danica is really enjoying being home with the kids. We have been truly blessed over and over again this year and are trying to let it all sink in. There’s more joy in parenting than we ever could have imagined. We hope you all have a fun Christmas and wish you all the best this coming year.
