Kimberly and I married later in life but still wanted to have children of our own. After much heartbreak resulting from our infertility treatments we decided to adopt. God's Families were referred to us from Saddleback Church in Southern California and we attended the adoption support group. We met other families who had also adopted with this agency and were confident to move ahead and adopt internationally.

We couldn't have had a more personal and professional experience with the agency staff and their staff in the Eastern Europe. Kimberly and I are respectively doctors of medicine and psychology and were nervous about really finding a healthy child. Our fears were put to rest when we met our baby girl and boy. We were able to use other medical staff for further assessments of the kids and were at peace that we had found the right children to become a family.

The trip to Eastern Europe was actually partly like a vacation and we enjoyed staying in Yalta on the seacoast and exploring other smaller interesting cities near the orphanage. All and all this experience was the most exciting of a lifetime and we can't be more grateful to God's Families for making this possible.
