The Storrie Family

I’m single and realized that I always wanted children in my life.

I’m a professional mail carrier for the United states Postal Service and am a active person and love people.

International adoption seemed like the logical choice as being a single parent, I don’t think I would have been top priority for receiving a child her in the United States.

International adoption also allowed me to have a child join my family who would be matched with me, who I am.

When I traveled to complete my adoption I was glad to have my mother along for support. They are now proud grandparents and a big part of her life.

Honestly speaking, international adoption is not the easiest thing I have ever done in my life but with the support of God's Families it has certainly been one of the most rewarding things I have or will ever do.

My daughter has changed my life in ways I never thought possible and I can‘t imagine life without her.

The love, growth, and progress is there to see everyday. Being a single parent certainly has it’s challenges, but the rewards far outweigh any sacrifices I’ve made.

The Terrie Family

It is a girl!!! Born April 4th, 1997. Grey-green eyes, blonde hair beautiful and very shy! All the nurses said she looks like me!

My apartment in the Eastern Europe was fine, and the host family was a true gift from God! I went to the circus with them. All the people were friendly, and Kiev looked like New York City-a little older same style buildings. The churches were spectacular with gold domes. I will take pictures. What an awesome trip and now I am a mom.
