We were so anxious about adopting at first and had no idea how much our son would mean to us in such a short time. Adopting in Belarus was so easy and we were only there for seven days. It was a very interesting place to adopt from with much of the old Soviet influence still there. The orphanage director was so happy that our son looked like us and they wanted such a “good boy “ to get a home. Our agency God's Families could not have supported us more—as well as Sergie their representative in Belarus and his family who were with us through the entire process and could not have been more helpful.
